Magnomatics are working on Project IMPACT (Integrated Magsplit Powertrain with Advanced Control and Testing) along with partners; Changan UK, Romax Technology, CMCL Innovations and the University of Sheffield. Project IMPACT is developing this MAGSPLIT technology further to demonstrate a full hybrid powertrain ready for prototype vehicle installation. The project is co-funded by Innovate UK.
